SFA Online Training 

This page is for the exclusive use of authorized Slate Falls Airways staff only. 

 

All of our training modules are to be completed online and are open-book. Completed exams are sent automatically by email. Most exams cannot be left and re-started so it is best to leave 

 

 

 

Phase 1 Training

The following exams and training modules are required to be completed by all flight crew and operational personnel upon their initial hiring. An 80% uncorrected pass grade is required for this phase of training.

COMPANY INDOCTRINATION TRAINING (4 hours)

SURVIVAL EQUIPMENT AND TECHNIQUES (20 minutes)

DISABILITY AWARENESS TRAINING  (20 minutes)

 

Phase 2 Training

The following exams and training modules are required to be completed by all flight crew and operational personnel with dangerous goods certification on their initial hiring and on a bi-annual basis thereafter. A 90% uncorrected pass grade is required for this phase of training.

DANGEROUS GOODS FOR FLIGHT CREW AND HANDLERS (8 hours)

 

Phase 3 Training

The following exams and training modules are required to be completed by all flight crew and operational peronnel upon their initial hiring and annually thereafter.

CRITICAL SURFACE CONTAMINATION AND AIRBORNE ICING EXAM (20 minutes)

 

Aircraft Type Training

The following exams and training modules are required to be completed by all flight crew members as part of PCC training on their initial hiring and annually thereafter.

CESSNA U206G STATIONAIR TYPE EXAM (2 hours)

DEHAVILLAND DHC-2 BEAVER TYPE EXAM (2 hours)

DEHAVILLAND DHC-3T TURBO OTTER TYPE EXAM (2 hours)
