To further ensure your safety, we do all our own maintenance with our own engineers. Peter Breton, our chief engineer has many years experience working on these aircraft and keeps them in top shape all year-round. Shannon Hulina (Engineer) and Matt McClelland (Part-time Apprentice), work with Pete on a day-to-day basis conducting scheduled and daily maintenance tasks. Nothing is left to chance at Slate Falls Airways - we follow a rigorous maintenance schedule to keep everything running in perfect order for the comfort and safety of our passengers and crew. Slate Falls Airways is a Transport Canada-approved maintenance organization. Maintenance operations are conducted in our 4,500 square foot heated hangar located at the Slate Falls Airways water base in Sioux Lookout.
