Slate Falls Airways employs personnel from the following areas:

Flight Crew
The minimum experience requirement for entry-level Cessna 206 float pilots is 250 hours float time, with no other total time requirement. Preference, however, will be given to applicants with higher total time and commercial experience. Except in unusual circumstances, positions on larger aircraft are filled from within the company.

Dockhand
Slate Falls Airways typically employs one full-time dockhand during the summer months. Preference will be given to low-time float pilots hoping to move onto the Cessna 206. While we cannot guarantee any PIC float time, we will give as much dual time in a variety of aircraft whenever possible.

Maintenance Staff
Slate Falls Airways has our own AMO and maintenance staff consisting of a Director of Maintenance, Engineer and one or two apprentices depending on season and workload. Available positions in the maintenance department will be posted on this website with instructions on applying and specific experience requirements or licences, depending on the specific position. We currently have no availabilities in the maintenance department.
